San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (hip) is coming off his bye week, and he's set for a larger role in his offense. He's been a difficult player to figure out for fantasy football so far this season. After an astoundingly good game against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3, in which he scored 46.5 PPR fantasy points, he's failed to score 12 in any game since then.
The talent is definitely there, and while the Rams have now given up massive fluke games to WRs Marvin Harrison Jr. (29 PPR FPTS) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (37 PPR FPTS), both those wideouts are talented as well. It's not as if anyone can put up those numbers.
Unfortunately, Jennings has been suffering from injury issues. So when will he return and be back for SF?

Jauan Jennings Injury Update
Like his teammate, running back Christian McCaffrey, No. 15 returned to practice for the 49ers this week. He's been dealing with a hip injury that's sidelined him for two games now, but he's had the help of a bye week to rest up. He's been out of action for three total weeks now.

The return to practice bodes well for his availability for the Week 10 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team won't send its official practice reports until Wednesday. Fantasy managers should hope for full practices, but there's a solid chance he'll play in Week 10 even if he logs limited sessions.
Jauan Jennings Fantasy Football Outlook
With the injuries to lead wideout Brandon Aiyuk (knee), Deebo Samuel Sr. (ribs), and Chris Conley (hamstring), Jennings should step into the WR2 role certainly, and possibly take on the WR1 role if Samuel can't play. This should lead to an excellent game in Week 10. The opposing Buccaneers have a soft pass defense.
Can’t tell if that’s Jauan Jennings or 49ers legend Randy Moss.

He's shown flashes of dominance and could repeat those in an easy matchup this week. He'll likely be able to thrive with his expanded role for the remainder of the season. Now is an excellent time to have him on your fantasy rosters.
