Nicholas Robertson Re-Enters Maple Leafs Lineup Sunday
5 months agoToronto Maple Leafs left wing Nicholas Robertson will rejoin the action on Sunday against Minnesota. The 23-year-old has had a tough time making an offensive impact and sat out Saturday's 4-2 loss to St. Louis as a healthy scratch. Robertson has managed one goal with 16 shots on net in 10 appearances this season. Given his struggles to hit form, fantasy managers should keep their expectations low regarding Robertson. The team hasn't yet announced which player comes out of the lineup to accommodate Robertson.

Nicholas Robertson Day-To-Day With Injury
6 months agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Nicholas Robertson (upper body) is day-to-day with an injury, according to Dave Alter of The Hockey News. Robertson was seen during Saturday's practice, which is a good sign the injury is not serious, but he will sit out in Saturday's preseason finale out of precaution. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the 23-year-old's status ahead of their season opener on Wednesday evening against the Montreal Canadians. After playing in only 15 games in the 2022 season, the former second-round pick took a significant step forward last season as he logged 56 games with 14 goals and 13 assists. Robertson originally requested a trade earlier in the offseason but then inked a one-year agreement earlier in September, which suggests that he will suit up for his fifth season in Toronto in 2024.

Nicholas Robertson Desperate To Stay Healthy In 2023-24
2 years agoToronto Maple Leafs winger Nicholas Robertson is eager to leave injuries behind him and kickstart his NHL career. "The show goes on," the 21-year-old told TSN. "The secret to success for me is just being healthy." Following an impressive preseason, Robertson played just 15 times in the NHL last term, sustaining a shoulder injury in December, which needed surgery. "Since the season's been done I was like, 'Ok, it's a fresh start,' and I'm just excited and ready to go," Robertson added. Through his first 31 NHL appearances, Robertson had registered three goals and four assists. With Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi arriving in town, he faces an uphill battle in trying to secure a spot on a scoring line next season.

Nicholas Robertson Out For 6-8 Weeks
2 years agoToronto Maple Leafs left wing Nicholas Robertson (shoulder) will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks, the team announced on Saturday. He was injured in Thursday's matchup against the Kings, and whilst Robertson won't need surgery to fix the issue, he will still miss at least a month and a half of action. The 21-year-old has tallied five points in 15 appearances this season but hasn't been able to improve his tally for eight games. Denis Malgin has moved to Robertson's spot on the second in practice, and he looks set to remain there for Saturday's tilt against Calgary. The Swiss winger will be in a great spot to add to his four points, with John Tavares and Mitchell Marner as his linemates. The latter is riding a sensational 21-game point streak.

Nicholas Robertson Suffers A Shoulder Injury
2 years agoToronto Maple Leafs left wing Nicholas Robertson hurt his shoulder against the Kings on Thursday and had to leave the game after just four shifts. He was injured when he took an awkward fall into the boards following a hit from Kings defenseman Matt Roy. Toronto head coach Sheldon Keefe said after the game that Robertson is set to miss significant time. It's very unfortunate for the young winger who was expected to break through this season. He has already struggled to hold down a spot in the lineup and Robertson now won't even be healthy enough to play for a while. The 21-year-old heads to the shelf with two goals and three assists on his account in 15 games.
