Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J Hockenson (knee) will finally make his debut in Week 9. He's been removed from the injury report and doesn't have a designation for his matchup with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. It's finally time for one of the NFL's best TEs to return to action.
He tore his ACL on Christmas Eve of last season, had surgery to correct the issue, and has been rehabbing since. It appears that his recovery went exceptionally well, as it's taken just over 10 months for him to return to action. ACL injuries typically require 11 to 12 months to heal fully.
So, should you start No. 87 in Week 9? What's his fantasy football outlook?

T.J. Hockenson Fantasy Football Outlook
He's one of the best fantasy options for tight ends when healthy. His elite level of play has earned him finishes in the top 5 tight ends in each season that he's played 15 or more games. With Travis Kelce, Sam LaPorta, and Mark Andrews authoring disappointing seasons so far, he has a shot at being a top option yet again.

At this point, he should be rostered in all leagues that feature a tight end slot in starting lineups. If he's available in your league, you should make room for him in yours.
Should I Start T.J. Hockenson in Week 9?
Yes, you should start him every week from now on because he's an elite tight end. It also helps that Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell indicated that Hock would have no restrictions on his return and would be operating with a full workload.

It also helps that he has an extremely easy matchup coming up. The Colts haven't been good at stopping opposing tight ends this season, so it stands to reason that they'll struggle to slow down one of the NFL's greatest at the position.

How to Interpret:

It helps even further that he's on an excellent offense designed and run by O'Connell, who's one of the best offensive minds in the business. He's somehow made quarterback Sam Darnold look good, and that's impressive.
Start Hockenson without worry this week.
