Cincinnati Bengals running back Zack Moss (neck) hasn't had the best stretch of games in the last few weeks. He's been much less productive than early in the season. After scoring double-digit PPR fantasy points in three of his first four games, he's failed to break 10 points in four straight contests and hasn't had a single game with double-digit carries.
He's seen his snap share decline markedly and now has logged three straight games under 60% of snaps. He had 60% or higher snaps in his first five games. It seems that he may be losing his starting job to backup Chase Brown -- the snaps are becoming more even, and in some games, Moss has been out-touched by Brown.
Now, Moss is listed on the Bengals injury report. So is he injured or healthy for Week 9?

Is Zack Moss Injured or Playing in Week 9?
Moss is dealing with a neck issue. He wasn't added to the injury report until Friday, meaning it could be a lingering ailment that was aggravated or something he suffered at practice. He's listed as "Doubtful" for his Week 9 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders, meaning he's all but guaranteed to miss the game.

Fantasy managers should be ready to deploy their backup plans and start someone in place of Moss on their rosters. They may have already been doing so, though, considering his stretch of lackluster performances.
Zack Moss Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
In his absence, Brown figures to handle a bigger load. He's more explosive and has a few highlight-reel plays already. It's unlikely that he cedes significant snaps and touches to third-string back Trayveon Williams, who hasn't taken a single snap on offense in 2024. Williams will likely spell Brown for a few plays but have no impact on his usage.
Chase Brown is tied for the lead in average yards per carry in the NFL with 7.4. Feed him the rock too .

No. 30's burst has been evident on tape. He now averages 4.6 yards per carry, so his efficiency has fallen back down to Earth, but he has a much softer matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders coming up. They've allowed the 10th most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. Brown is a solid RB3/FLEX for Week 9.
