BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore had his best game of the season last week, catching eight passes for 85 yards. With Jameis Winston under center and Amari Cooper now gone, Moore should continue to see more opportunities in the passing game. The fourth-year wide receiver has seen 18 targets over the past two games.
As a result, he can be a potential flex play in 12-plus team leagues in Week 9. However, Moore does have a tough matchup in this game against the Chargers secondary. Los Angeles has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year.
Browns pass catchers with Jameis Winston today:
Elijah Moore: 29% targets, 23% air yards, 16.5 points 📈
Cedric Tillman: 22%, 39%, 28.9 📈
Jerry Jeudy: 20%, 24%, 12.9 📈
David Njoku: 17%, 15%, 17.1 📈Upgrades everywhere. pic.twitter.com/0Itwf8eL52

Still, the Browns wideout should see enough targets in the slot to be a high-floor flex option this weekend. The Chargers are allowing 10.7 PPR fantasy points per game to slot wideouts this season, where Moore plays 65% of his snaps. He has also finished as a top-30 fantasy wide receiver in back-to-back games, so the potential is there for him in Week 9.

BALLER MOVE: Start in all 12-team or 3-WR formats POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end WR3 with upside ANALYSIS: Keon Coleman came into the 2024 NFL Draft with plenty of doubters. Javonte Williams - Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12+ Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3 ANALYSIS: Javonte Williams had a disappointing showing in what should've been a prime matchup against Carolina last week, but Bo Nix and the passing game ended up stealing the spotlight. Julius Chestnut - Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4 (If He's The Lead Back) ANALYSIS: Legendary name, but unfortunately, not legendary player (we think). Tennessee Titans running back Julius Chestnut could see the lead role with second-string back Tyjae Spears (hamstring) expected to be unavailable for Week 9, and RB1 Tony Pollard (foot) a game-time decision. IF Julius […]
