BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (ankle) had a nice streak of games for fantasy football when he was scoring touchdowns. Now he's not catching those touchdowns, his targets and yardage aren't impressive, and he's faded back to fantasy irrelevance, which shouldn't be a surprise.

He is likely to take the field when his team takes on the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. They don't have the best of pass defenses, and it's worth noting that QJ last played three defenses that lock down wide receivers in a row (the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3, Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4 and Denver Broncos in Week 6).
The Browns have surprisingly allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers this season. That bodes well for Johnston if he plays. He was upgraded to a full participant in practice on Thursday, so there's a good chance that he does.
In addition, the opposing offense is now led by quarterback Jameis Winston, who's known for airing out deep passes and leading productive, yet turnover-prone, offenses. This game could be another shootout in which the Chargers are forced to pass more, adding to Johnston's value. He can be started in deeper leagues.

BALLER MOVE: Bench in all formats outside of DFS where Wicks can be a worthwhile dart throw POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5 ANALYSIS: The Green Bay wide receiver room is crowded, like trying to pick a spot in New York City on a Saturday night--options everywhere, but hard to lock down where to go. With Jayden Reed, […]
Keon Coleman - Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Start in all 12-team or 3-WR formats POSITIONAL VALUE: Low-end WR3 with upside ANALYSIS: Keon Coleman came into the 2024 NFL Draft with plenty of doubters. BALLER MOVE: Sit in all formats until he earns more touches POSITIONAL VALUE: RB5 ANALYSIS: The Bucs offense has taken a nosedive in fantasy. Javonte Williams - Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12+ Team Leagues POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3 ANALYSIS: Javonte Williams had a disappointing showing in what should've been a prime matchup against Carolina last week, but Bo Nix and the passing game ended up stealing the spotlight. This week doesn’t look much better, as he’s up against one of the league’s toughest […]
Julius Chestnut - Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks
BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: RB4 (If He's The Lead Back) ANALYSIS: Legendary name, but unfortunately, not legendary player (we think). Tennessee Titans running back Julius Chestnut could see the lead role with second-string back Tyjae Spears (hamstring) expected to be unavailable for Week 9, and RB1 Tony Pollard (foot) a game-time decision. IF Julius […]
