POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: After a two-game stretch in which Chicago Bears running back Caleb Williams threw for 530 passing yards, five touchdowns, and one interception and rushed for 90 yards, the rookie put up another dud in Week 8, completing just 10 of 24 passes for 131 yards, rushing for 47 yards, and scoring zero touchdowns.
This Caleb Williams play would’ve gone for a 70 yard touchdown in the pac 12 . He’s playing against grown men with families so it’s an interception pic.twitter.com/b9mSJW37kC

It's apparently easy to forget what happened just a few games ago. It's more interesting to push narratives that a player "completely turned things around" when they follow a string of bad performances with a few good ones. The reality is that the NFL is matchup-based. Against soft defenses, he can produce for fantasy football.
His offensive line is ninth in ESPN's Pass Block Win Rate, and he has an elite array of weapons, including those of WRs Rome Odunze, D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, and tight end Cole Kmet. But he's a highly inconsistent rookie who tries to improvise when he shouldn't and has accuracy and decision-making issues.
The Arizona Cardinals present a soft defense for Williams to exploit, so he has a good shot at being fantasy-relevant, but he's hard to trust outside of deeper leagues.
