T.J. Hockenson Injury Update

It’s (nearly) official, Hockenson is anticipated to make his 2024-25 debut in Week 9 against the Colts. There were some moments in the last few weeks where many expected the 27-year-old to suit up, although it didn't happen.

KOC: “I think T.J.’s ready to play.” Sounds like Hockenson won’t be limited on Sunday night. Josh Oliver will obviously still have a sizable role.

However, fantasy managers should count on him being out there on Sunday. Even better, he is anticipated to see a full workload, making him worthy of a spot in all fantasy lineups.  

Dallas Goedert Injury Update

Goedert has missed the Eagles’ previous two contests because of a hamstring issue. He was a top fantasy tight end before going down, so, naturally, fantasy managers hope he’ll be back sooner rather than later.

Eagles injury update:
Did not practice: DT Jalen Carter (shoulder), G Landon Dickerson (knee), TE Dallas Goedert (hamstring), CB Darius Slay (groin)

Limited: G Mekhi Becton (concussion)

Full: TE Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen)

Unfortunately, Goedert didn’t practice on Wednesday, which is not a good sign. If the veteran can take the practice field sometime in the next few days, there‘s a chance he’ll play.

But if Goedert doesn’t return for the Week 9 matchup with the Jaguars, Grant Calcaterra could draw consideration in multi-tight-end formats.  

Noah Fant Injury Update

Fant was limited in Wednesday’s practice because of a groin injury. Still, with only 27 catches for 285 yards (and no touchdowns), his availability for Sunday’s NFC West showdown with the Rams won’t matter to most fantasy managers.  

Evan Engram Injury Update

Unlike previous weeks, Engram isn’t mentioned on the injury report for the nagging hamstring injury that cost him some games earlier in the year.

The 2017 No. 23 overall tight end is coming off a decent showing, catching four of his five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown.

Of course, Engram’s ceiling is higher than most at the position, although his potential for more involvement increased after Christian Kirk was ruled out for the remainder of the season because of a fractured collarbone.  

Will Dissly Injury Update

Dissly didn’t practice on Wednesday because of a shoulder injury. However, he was in the same boat last week but still managed to amass five catches for 41 yards against the Saints.

While he’s already at 26 catches on the year, the second-highest mark of his career, he still hasn’t found the end zone. With that in mind, Dissly has more work to do before earning a spot in most fantasy lineups.
