5 months agoAleksandar Rakic suffered a unanimous decision loss to Magomed Ankalaev on the main card of UFC 308 on Saturday., Before the loss to Ankalaev, Rakic lost to former UFC titleholder Jiri Prochazka via TKO at UFC 300. Rakic and Ankalaev had a competitive fight, but after three rounds, all three judges scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Ankalaev. In 15 minutes of action, Rakic landed 53 significant strikes. This was Rakic's third consecutive loss. With the loss, Rakic's UFC record is now 6-4.

3 years agoAleksandar Rakic was on the door of a light-heavyweight title shot but was unable to get the victory over the former champion on Saturday, suffering a third-round TKO loss to Jan Blachowicz. In 11:11 of action, Rakic tallied 27 significant strikes (61 total strikes) and only landed one of his four takedown tries on the night. It's unclear how severe Rakic's injury is, but after the injury is revealed, we'll have a better idea how good of a fantasy play he'll be in his next fight.
