Curtis Lazar Expected To Miss Time
4 weeks agoNew Jersey Devils center Curtis Lazar (lower body) is expected to be out for a while. Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe has said that Lazar will miss "some time" after he was hurt in Sunday's 6-2 win over Anaheim. Lazar scored his first goal of the season just a few days ago and has tallied two points in 12 games while averaging 10:33 of ice time on the fourth line. His injury allows Nathan Bastian to rejoin the lineup. Bastian has also seen only limited action on the fourth line, but he's been a bit more productive offensively, scoring two goals and four points in 10 appearances.
