Evan Engram Injury Update
Engram was limited for Wednesday’s practice because of the nagging hamstring issue that cost him four games.
However, he’s been on the field for the Jags’ previous two contests, so there wasn’t much concern from fantasy managers regarding his availability for Week 8 against the Packers.
The 30-year-old had a game-high 10 catches for 102 yards in Week 6 versus the Bears. He followed that up with a five-catch, 35-yard outing in the Week 7 meeting with the Patriots.
Engram has one of the highest ceilings at the position, making him a viable option in all fantasy setups on Sunday.
Dallas Goedert Injury Update
As expected, Goedert will miss Sunday’s showdown with the Bengals. He injured his hamstring in Week 6 against the Browns, allowing Grant Calcaterra to finish with four grabs for 67 yards.
Naturally, when Goedert was ruled out for Week 7 versus the Giants, Calcaterra was featured in starting fantasy lineups.
Yet, the 25-year-old had just one catch for five yards in that one, making him hard to trust in Week 8.
Taysom Hill Injury Update
Hill had two touchdowns in the Week 4 divisional clash with the Falcons. However, he’s been sidelined since because of a rib injury.
While the veteran will be back on the field against the Chargers, he likely won’t see consistent targets throughout the contest.
If Taysom Hill is healthy for the Saints this week they gotta start him at QB, right?

Still, with Derek Carr unlikely to suit up, Hill could get some snaps at the quarterback spot (or maybe just act as the signal-caller altogether?), increasing his chances of finding the end zone.
George Kittle Injury Update
Kittle didn’t practice on Wednesday because of a foot issue. While he logged limited sessions on Thursday and Friday, he’s questionable for Sunday night’s encounter with the Dallas Cowboys.

Brandon Aiyuk will miss the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign with a knee injury, so the 49ers can’t afford any more absences on the offensive end.
But if Kittle doesn’t play, Eric Saubert will slide into his spot. Unfortunately, he won‘t be worth a start in most fantasy setups.
Dalton Kincaid Injury Update
Kincaid has been bothered by a collarbone injury over the last few weeks. He was limited in Wednesday and Thursday’s practice sessions.
But he was a full-go on Friday and doesn’t carry an injury designation for Week 8 against Seattle. It’s safe to say Kincaid has underperformed this season.
Still, it’s only a matter of time before he goes off, so it’s hard to justify keeping him on the bench.
