3 weeks agoDetroit Lions kicker Jake Bates is coming off a game-winning field goal in Week 7 and heads into a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8. The Titans have been allowing double-digit fantasy points to kickers, setting Bates up for another strong outing. Bates has been nearly perfect this season, converting 10-of-10 field goals and 20-of-21 extra points. While Lions head coach Dan Campbell's aggressive fourth-down play-calling could limit Bates' field goal attempts, Detroit's projected team total of 28 points and their status as double-digit favorites indicates plenty of scoring opportunities for a kicker to jump on.
