Daniel Carlson Could See Limited Volume In Week 8
4 weeks agoLas Vegas Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson showed he was still one of the NFL's best by converting all five of his attempts in Week 7, but he faces the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, who allow the tenth-fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers in the NFL. In addition, Las Vegas' offense will be without its former top receiver, Davante Adams, for the season, and could be missing Jakobi Meyers (ankle), who didn't practice Thursday. QB Gardner Minshew II will start in place of Aidan O'Connell (thumb), who is now on injured reserve. It's a nightmare matchup for a struggling and depleted offense, so we may not see much of Carlson's leg on Sunday. He's not an appealing starting option in any fantasy leagues.
