It was a rough Week 7 for some teams around the National Football League. However, it may have been worse for the 49ers, with the team losing Brandon Aiyuk for the rest of the 2024-25 campaign. The Commanders also saw Jayden Daniels go down with a rib injury. Fortunately for Washington, the rookie may not miss much time, if any.
In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 8 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel and the 2024 NFL season. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

Week 8 FanDuel Quarterbacks - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Joe Burrow - vs. PHI ($7,700)
Burrow has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks going this season. He’s thrown at least two touchdowns in five of his seven starts while also completing an efficient 70.4% of his attempts.

With Cincinnati sitting one game away from .500, the signal-caller will do all he can to make that happen. Look for Burrow to be firing on all cylinders for the Week 8 showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jordan Love – at JAC ($8,900)
The Jaguars picked up a win over the New England Patriots in Week 7. Still, a win over the Pats isn’t saying much, so Jacksonville is still considered one of the worst teams in the league.
The Jags offense hasn’t done them any favors. But the defense has been even more atrocious. As such, Love may feast against a Jacksonville squad that has allowed more fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks than any other team in the NFL.
Also Consider: Lamar Jackson ($8,800), Bo Nix ($6,900)
Week 8 FanDuel Running Backs - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Joe Mixon - vs. IND ($9,000)
Despite missing some time because of an ankle injury, Mixon has been a reliable fantasy asset. In three of the former Sooner’s four appearances this season, he’s scored at least once while accumulating at least 102 yards on the ground.

With Nico Collins sidelined, the Texans will need Mixon to remain heavily involved, so DFS managers should look in his direction versus the Colts.
J.K. Dobbins - vs. NO ($7,400)
Without question, injuries have negatively impacted Dobbins’ career. But when he’s healthy, he’s as good as it gets.
The 25-year-old has looked good in his first season with the Chargers, running for 478 yards and three touchdowns off 95 touches. Granted, there are others in the position who have been more productive.
Still, Dobbins is one of the most reliable options in the Chargers’ lineup, even if he's struggled of late, and could have a solid showing versus a weak Saints’ run-stop unit.
Also Consider: Breece Hall ($7,900), Josh Jacobs ($7,500), Rachaad White ($6,4000, Javonte Williams ($6,000)
Week 8 FanDuel Wide Receivers - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Tee Higgins - vs. PHI ($7,500)
Ja’Marr Chase is the top receiver for the Bengals. However, Higgins could easily be the No. 1 option for any team.
While the 25-year-old could find himself on a new team next season, his production for the Bengals of late shouldn’t go unnoticed. He has 39 targets in the last four games, bringing in 26 of them.
Higgins also has three touchdowns in the last three games. Opposing defenses will need to prioritize Chase or he’ll make them pay.
As a result, Higgins may continue to have room to breathe, making him an ideal option for Week 8 against the Eagles.
UPDATE - Higgins is questionable for Week 8 with a quadriceps issue. If he is ruled out, Andrei Iosivas, who had three touchdowns in as many weeks to begin the year, will automatically receive credibility as a value option.
Jalen McMillan – vs. ATL ($4,900)
Just like the 49ers, the Buccaneers are hurting on the offensive side of the ball. Tampa lost Chris Godwin for the rest of the year and Mike Evans will miss some time.
But someone has to catch passes from Baker Mayfield. While Sterling Shepard and Trey Palmer have received interest from fantasy managers, McMillan may be the receiver who benefits the most from Evans and Godwin’s absences.

He had only three receptions in the Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. But McMillan was targeted eight times, which says enough for the wideout to earn a spot in DFS lineups for Week 8.
Also Consider: Ja’Marr Chase ($9,200), A.J. Brown ($9,000), Amon-Ra St. Brown ($8,900), Tank Dell ($6,900), Ladd McConkey ($6,000 – Questionable), Trey Palmer ($4,000)
Week 8 FanDuel Tight Ends - NFL DFS Lineup Picks
Travis Kelce – at LV ($6,900)
What is going on with Kelce this season? While it’s true most tight ends around the league have underperformed, Kelce’s lack of production is the most surprising.
He looked great in Weeks 4 and 5, combining for 16 receptions for 159 yards. Yet, the 35-year-old has four catches or less in the other four games.
The Chiefs are banged up, with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Skyy Moore already ruled out for the divisional matchup with the Raiders.
With that said, Kelce needs to be at his best, although it’s likely he delivers.
Also Consider: Brock Bowers ($7,400), Cade Otton ($5,200)
