Dan Ige A Big Underdog At UFC 308
5 months agoDan Ige (18-8) is set to take on Lerone Murphy at UFC 308. Ige is coming off a decision loss to Diego Lopes in June at UFC 303 in a fight he took on four hour's notice. Ige is 3-5 in his last eight fights and the Hawaiian enters the bout as an underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,300. In the UFC, Ige is 10-7 with five wins by stoppage while he has never been finished. If he can pull off an upset, Ige should get a top-10 opponent next.

Dan Ige Takes Fight On Hours Notice At UFC 303
9 months agoDan Ige (18-8) was supposed to fight on July 20, but as UFC 303 had already started, the Hawaiian got a call to step up on hours' notice to face Diego Lopes in the co-main event of the card. Ige replaced Brian Ortega who was pulled from the fight due to an illness on fight day. In the first two rounds, Ige struggled as he was outstruck in the first round and was controlled in the second. But, in the third round, Ige took over as he outstruck Lopes 41-to-16 and landed some big shots. However, it was too little too late as he dropped a decision. With the loss, Ige is now 10-7 in the UFC and is 3-5 in his last eight fights.

Dan Ige Makes Quick Work At UFC Vegas 86
1 year agoDan Ige improved to 18-7 as a pro with a first-round knockout over Andre Fili at UFC Vegas 86 on Saturday. Ige was originally supposed to fight Lerone Murphy, but the Brit was forced out of the bout and was replaced by Fili. It was a feeling-out process early on, but Ige landed a massive right hand that dropped Fili and the Hawaiian followed it up with one punch on the ground to get the KO win in the first round. With the win, Ige is now 3-1 in his last four and should get someone ranked ahead of him next time out.

The loss to Mitchell snapped his two-fight winning skid and entering this fight, the Hawaiian is the favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,600. Dan Ige Falls Short Against Another Top-10 Opponent
2 years agoDan Ige suffered a close decision loss to Bryce Mitchell in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 79. Ige entered the scrap on a two-fight winning streak, as he beat two unranked opponents and was finally getting another crack at a top-10 opponent. Unfortunately, Ige struggled against Mitchell's grappling, as the Hawaiian was taken down five times and was controlled for over seven minutes. With the loss, Ige drops to 17-7 as a pro, 9-6 in the UFC, and is 3-5 in his last eight fights. Ige will likely fight an unranked opponent next.
