ANALYSIS: Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has shown us over the course of four full seasons that he's not the player or fantasy asset he was drafted to be, but there are still people who won't give up on him. He's the WR56 on the season. It's always been someone else's fault, though.

No NFL receiver that's at least "very good" plays at this level, no matter how bad their quarterback is. He was a premier prospect in the NFL Draft and selected very highly, but so are a lot of other players that don't end up working out. To not blame him for a portion of his struggles would be misguided.

At the very least, he has a gunslinger at quarterback now. New starter Jameis Winston is a high-volume passer that's capable of making big plays as well as big turnovers, but that's good for fantasy assets. That doesn't mean you should start Jeudy in Week 8, though. Wait and see how things shake out -- they don't look good for him for now.
