ANALYSIS: Start Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (quadricep) if quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is throwing it to him. There shouldn't be more thought put into this decision than that. And Tagovailoa is expected to make his return in Week 8, meaning Waddle should be in your starting lineups.

He's a YAC god, and while his 2022 WR8 season looks like a bit of an outlier, he can still easily finish in the top 24 in fantasy points per game when his starting quarterback is throwing it to him. He's a ridiculous speedster and has a big role in his offense. Games with Tyler Huntley, Skylar Thompson, or Tim Boyle under center can be thrown out of your analysis.

Yes, Miami players have been absolutely miserable to own this season, but it's not like they all started being bad. They just need their QB1 back. And he should be back on Sunday.
Start him in that case, keep him on the bench if a backup QB ends up playing. The injury Waddle has should be monitored, but he's expected to play.
