1 month agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba enters the Seahawks' Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons coming off of three straight games with double-digit fantasy points. While that is nothing to write home about, he has earned 28 targets over that time span. Smith-Njigba's target volume has been huge as the Seahawks have to throw to keep up in games. Fellow wide receiver DK Metcalf is entrenched as the No. 1 option in this offense and Tyler Lockett continues to play a possession role. Given the Seahawks' passing volume, there is room for another player to step into a huge role alongside Metcalf. With Smith-Njigba receiving ridiculous target volume, it feels like it is only a matter of time before that translates to great fantasy success. This Week 7 matchup against the Falcons is not scary. Atlanta is No. 21 against opposing wide receivers in fantasy in 2024.
