Khalil Shakir Could See Snaps Increase, Targets Decrease
1 month agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle) is off the injury report after participating in practice all week. It's encouraging progress for the slot receiver, who played under 40% of the snaps against the Jets in his first game back from injury. The result was just two catches for 19 yards. Fantasy managers can expect to jump back to the 55-70% snap percentage he played before the ankle ailment. However, the Bills added Amari Cooper to the roster this week and he will demand targets away from Shakir. The Titans allow the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, although they are better against receivers out wide than inside. Shakir is a low-end WR3 this week.
