De'Von Achane An Enticing Week 7 Play
1 month agoMiami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane (concussion) is lined up for an intriguing outing against the Indianapolis Colts. The second-year back practiced without a non-contact jersey in the team's Thursday practice, suggesting he's trending toward returning to action in Week 7 from the concussion sustained before the Week 6 bye. It's been a rough stretch for the 23-year-old, who has yet to eclipse nine fantasy points since quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) was forced from Miami's Week 2 loss against the Buffalo Bills. He'll get an excellent bounce-back opportunity this Sunday when they square off against the Colts. Indianapolis allows an average of 155.2 rush yards per game to opposing offenses and a solid 4.6 yards per attempt. Raheem Mostert ran well in his return to action in Week 5 (19 car./80 yds.), but he and rookie Jaylen Wright combined for 32 carries in the win, so Achane could be in for a sizeable workload on the ground if they run back their game plan from before the team's bye. The former Aggie is RotoBaller's PPR RB19 in this week's rankings.
