Week 7 Kicker Outlooks for Fantasy Football
Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs - Fantasy Football Outlook
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker will face the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7. In Kansas City's last contest, Butker nailed four of five field goal attempts and both of his extra-point attempts in the 26-13 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 5.
Butker has been accurate this season, draining 12 of his 14 field goal attempts and 10 of 11 extra-point attempts. Butker has been one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL throughout his career, nailing over 85% of his field goal attempts in every season except 2022. Butker has also made over 90% of his extra-point attempts in his career.
The San Francisco defense is a well-rounded unit that could trouble the Kansas City offense when the field shortens. If the Chiefs offense stalls within Butker's range, he is more than capable of splitting the uprights. The Kansas City Chiefs kicker should be worthy of a start in Week 7.

Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers - Fantasy Football Outlook
Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell will look to continue his excellent start to the season against the New York Jets in Week 7. This could prove to be a difficult home matchup for Pittsburgh as the Jets are surrendering just 18 points per contest, the seventh-fewest in the NFL.
Furthermore, the Steelers are yet to officially announce whether Russell Wilson or Justin Fields will serve as the team's starting quarterback on Sunday night. While a change under center may raise the ceiling of Pittsburgh's offense, it is also possible that it backfires and negatively impacts Boswell.
The 33-year-old has been consistent and can still be started in a pinch, but fantasy managers may want to consider other options this week.

Jake Bates, Detroit Lions - Fantasy Football Outlook
Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates is coming off an impressive performance, going 4-for-4 on field goals and 5-for-5 on extra points last week. However, kickers have had limited opportunities against the Minnesota Vikings, averaging just 1.4 field goal attempts and 1.6 extra point attempts per game this season.
While another huge game from Bates may be unlikely, the projected high-scoring nature of this matchup, along with a close spread, could provide more opportunities than usual. Playing indoors also boosts his chances, making Bates a solid streaming option for Week 7.
