While the Chiefs are unbeaten heading into Week 7, the team has hit some bumps in the road along the way, specifically on the offensive side of the ball.
Kansas City lost Marquise Brown to a shoulder injury before the beginning of the regular season. The injuries to the receiving corps didn't end there, as the Chiefs also had Rashee Rice go down with a knee injury.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Isiah Pacheco broke his Fibula in the Week 2 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals. As a result, the team placed him on the injured reserve list. Since then, fantasy managers are anxiously awaiting his return. But when will that be exactly?

Isiah Pacheco Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Pacheco landing on the IR meant that he would miss a minimum of four games, so he wouldn’t be eligible to suit up for games versus the Falcons, Chargers, Saints, and 49ers.

However, since it was originally reported he would be sidelined for six to eight weeks, there is a chance he also won’t be available for at least a few more games after that.
Isiah Pacheco Fantasy Football Outlook
The best-case scenario would mean Pacheco is back on the field near the end of October or early November.
Still, with the Chiefs looking for another championship, it’s very likely the 2022 No. 251 overall pick won't be rushed back. It's also realistic to assume he will see limited snaps for at least a couple of games before he’s back to his usual workload.

I think it'll be a little bit longer than that but it's not gonna be season ending" ~ @AdamSchefter#PMSLive pic.twitter.com/umXPhgVh8E

With that in mind, there should be more updates on Pacheco’s health in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, fantasy managers probably shouldn’t expect to see him in action anytime soon.
But even when he gets the green light, fantasy managers likely won’t feel comfortable starting him until Week 10 against Denver or Week 11 versus Buffalo, barring a setback in his recovery efforts.
In the meantime, Kareem Hunt should continue to serve as the No. 1 option out of the backfield. However, Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s return could mean less work for Hunt.
CEH's return may also result in even less involvement for Carson Steele and Samaje Perine, although one of them may be held out of some games moving ahead.
