Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) wasn't able to suit up last game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6, and the team missed his presence. Las Vegas was blown out 32-13, and the real score was closer to 32-7 since the black and silver didn't score again until garbage time.
There isn't much for fantasy managers to be excited about regarding this team, but at least the 27-year-old has been a priority in the passing game when lead receiver Davante Adams hasn't played. Considering that Adams won't be playing for the Raiders anymore, Meyers has increased value.
So, will Meyers be the WR1 for the Las Vegas Raiders when he returns?

Will Jakobi Meyers Start For The Raiders When He Returns?
Yes. With original lead receiver Davante Adams now gone to the New York Jets in a blockbuster trade, Meyers will continue to start. Las Vegas' wide receiver room did almost nothing in Week 6, and they clearly missed their top two wideouts. WR Tre Tucker was held scoreless, and no other wide receiver had topped 40 yards.
Jakobi Meyers is the WR16 in target per route run on plays without Davante Adams on the field⬇️

Meyers has an impressive target rate without Adams on the field this season, and since the latter won't be coming back, it's clear who will lead this receiving room. While Tucker has had some nice games, he was presumably the defensive focus last week, which led to his goose-egg performance.
This team needs their new lead receiver back badly. They'll hope he can return soon.
Jakobi Meyers Fantasy Football Outlook
Every team's WR1 has value in full-PPR scoring due to target volume, but the former Patriot has to fight through poor quarterback play to be relevant. The Raiders have one of the least productive quarterback rooms in the league, and with no trades on the horizon, it looks like it'll stay that way.

Things aren't looking to get much better, but No. 16 is a solid WR3/FLEX option in full-PPR leagues and should continue to earn a nice target rate. Though he may not be productive in yardage or by scoring touchdowns, he also has value when the team tries to score in garbage time, which helps.
