Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (groin) has potentially cemented himself as the biggest bust of the 2024 fantasy football season (excluding injuries). He has looked completely uninspiring when on the field, failed to score a single touchdown, and hasn't made any big highlight plays.
He had a nice final stretch of his 2023 season, but it came on the back of massive volume, and inefficiency with tons of volume isn't a precursor for even more volume. Las Vegas saw this and decided to bring in former Minnesota Viking Alexander Mattison before the season started. They're probably glad they did.
So should you drop Zamir White in your fantasy leagues?

Should I Drop Zamir White in Fantasy Football?
At this point, it's safe to drop him. He has virtually zero pass-catching upside, can't seem to score, and is averaging a meager 3.1 yards per carry. The team around him hasn't performed well, they just traded away their best wide receiver and offensive weapon in Davante Adams, and they have failed to establish any threat with their rushing attack.

Fantasy managers should be focused on upside and potential upside when searching for fantasy assets, and whether it's because of the situation he's in or a lack of talent, White doesn't provide enough upside to be worth starting in most leagues, even with a workhorse role.
Who Should I Pickup in Week 7 Fantasy Football?
At the running back position, there are a few players that are worth making waiver claims for. Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker just had a monster game, scoring 34.2 PPR fantasy points, and while this was likely an aberration, he could see more of a role and potentially eat into lead back Rachaad White's snaps.

He got most of his work late in a blowout game but showed an impressive burst. Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis is an excellent handcuff option. He totaled over 150 yards from scrimmage in a win vs the New York Jets on Monday. He could eat into lead back James Cook's snaps.
Fantasy managers should also consider Los Angeles Chargers RB Kimani Vidal, who had an impressive long receiving touchdown in the team's win against the Denver Broncos in Week 6. He could siphon some of the lead back J.K. Dobbins' snaps or take over and perform well in case of an injury.
