1 month agoGolden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski (nose) was forced to leave Sunday night's preseason game after taking a hit from teammate Trayce Jackson-Davis. On Monday, it was confirmed that the second-year guard suffered a broken nose. Brett Siegel reports that Podziemski will be fitted for a face mask and is not expected to miss the start of the regular season. Despite Buddy Hield and De'Anthony Melton coming in to help alleviate the loss of Klay Thompson, Podziemski is set to take on a bigger role than last season. The 21-year-old averaged 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.2 threes per game in his rookie year.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
