Pierre Strong Jr. (concussion) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Wednesday. Strong suffered a concussion in the Week 17 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and is now in the league's concussion protocol. With two straight DNPs this week and a meaningless Week 18 regular-season finale against the division-rival Baltimore Ravens on a short week on Saturday, it's looking unlikely that the 26-year-old will suit up for the last game of the season. In addition to Strong,
Jerome Ford (ankle) has yet to practice this week and could also be out this weekend. If both Ford and Strong are unavailable for the Browns,
D'Onta Foreman would most likely see the lion's share of work in the backfield in a bad Browns offense, with
John Kelly in line for backup duties for Cleveland.

Pierre Strong Jr. is expected to serve as the top backup for the Week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns are shorthanded at running back with
Jerome Ford (hamstring) sidelined again. That means, Strong should get mixed in as the change-of-pace back behind
Nick Chubb. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect much from Strong considering he rushed for six yards on three attempts last week. His role is likely going to be minimal with Chubb gaining more snaps each week. Fantasy managers should be able to find more production elsewhere.

Pierre Strong Jr. should be in line for a larger role heading into a Week 7 home matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jerome Ford (hamstring) will not play in Week 7, leaving the third-down role open for Strong against Cincinnati. The Browns are expected to get
Nick Chubb (knee) back for the game but he could be eased into action in his first game since tearing his ACL early in the 2023 season. With the struggling Browns likely to be playing from behind for much of this game, Strong has some appeal as an RB3/flex option in PPR leagues heading into Week 7.

Pierre Strong Jr. (hamstring) was officially a non-participant in the Browns' Wednesday practice. The third-year RB suffered the injury in Cleveland's 18-13 road victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Strong would be week-to-week; thus, it stands to reason that he could miss at least one game. On the season so far, he's toted the rock just three times for five yards, though he does lead backfield mates
D'Onta Foreman and
Jerome Ford in receiving yards (30) on three catches. Strong also contributes in the return game, totaling 25 yards on his lone kickoff return. Expect Ford and Foreman to divvy up Strong's touches while he is on the shelf, with
Jaelon Darden and
James Proche II handling return duties. Cleveland will face off against the Browns at home this Sunday.
