Scheifele tallied his first goal in the opening frame on a tip-in. Later in the third, Scheifele would score on the power-play, which would eventually serve as the game-winner. Scheifele also added a blocked shot in this game, with three total shots on goal. This performance extended his point streak to three games. Over his past 12 games, the 31-year-old has found the back of the net eight times and added five helpers. Overall, Scheifele has enjoyed a fantastic season, tallying 31 goals with 28 assists across just 53 games. He is on pace to set a new career-high in points and goals and remains a must-start player in all fantasy formats.

4 months agoWinnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele added three points to his tally as the team eased past Boston 8-1 on Tuesday. He potted two goals, one on the power play, and tallied one assist. Scheifele's form has been one of the keys to Winnipeg's success this season, and he's been terrific on home ice, scoring at least one point in all 13 outings so far. This marks the longest home point streak by a player in franchise history. If he can keep up his current scoring rate, Scheifele will post his first career 90-point campaign. He's on 16 goals and 34 points through 30 games.

4 months agoWinnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele potted his ninth career hat trick in Tuesday's 6-3 victory over Florida. Scheifele tallied two even-strength goals and one power-play goal. This was Scheifele's third multi-goal outing of the campaign. He's been in great form since Game 1, producing 12 goals and 24 points in 19 appearances. Nine of the points have come with the man advantage as Winnipeg's power play has been red-hot, currently working at a 35.7 percent clip. Next up, the team faces a challenging time, as Friday's trip to Pittsburgh starts a six-game road trip for the Jets. All three games in which Scheifele hasn't found the score sheet this season have been on away ice.

1 year agoWinnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele notched a hat trick as part of a 4-2 road win over the New York Rangers on Tuesday. The Jets captain opened the scoring 4:04 into the second period and notched his second of the game with 2:05 to go in the middle frame. He could complete the hat trick, the eighth of his career, on an empty-netter to seal the win with just nine seconds remaining. With the performance, Scheifele has now registered 22 goals and 62 points across 61 games on the season. He also fired a hefty seven shots on goal Tuesday, giving him 134 on the campaign. The Jets sit atop the Central Division with a 44-19-5 record on the season.
