San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini (lower body) has confirmed he will play in Monday's matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The teenage sensation missed Sunday's practice due to a lower-body injury and was deemed a game-time decision by Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky. Celebrini has nailed down a place on the first line, pacing the Sharks with 44 points (18 goals, 26 assists) in 49 games. Despite the team's eight-game losing streak, Celebrini has stayed productive, scoring two goals and providing six assists during this stretch.

San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini put together his first career three-point game in Monday's 7-2 win against Los Angeles. He reached the milestone with a pair of goals and an assist. Celebrini, who scored his second goal of the night on the power play, became only the second teenager in Sharks history to total three points in a single game, joining the legendary Patrick Marleau. A hip injury delivered an early blow for Celebrin's rookie campaign, but he's starting to make noise, with five points picked up in three games. Despite missing 12 games, Celebrini sits fifth in scoring among first-year players with 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 12 outings.

San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini registered two assists in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss against St. Louis. Celebrini's work on the power play helped Alex Wennberg to tie the score at one in the first period, and his second assist came with just nine seconds left in regulation as Wennberg scored again. Mikael Granlund also had an assist on both plays. Celebrini sits on seven points (four goals, three assists) through his first 10 career games. Only Tomas Hertl (10) has recorded more points in his first 10 games for San Jose as a teenager. Celebrini has done well, but his consistency needs work, as most of his scoring has come from three multi-point games.

San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini (hip) has told reporters he will return to the lineup on Tuesday versus Columbus. The teenage sensation hurt his hip in San Jose's season opener. The injury is an early blow for Celebrini's rookie campaign, but he should still have a good shot at winning the rookie scoring race. In his debut, Celebrini posted one goal and one assist. He joined Tyler Toffoli and Mikael Granlund on the first line Monday, and Celebrini should get a lot of power-play usage once he's back in the lineup.
