Jared Goff A Conservative QB2 Against Dallas In Week 6
1 month agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff faces a formidable Dallas Cowboys pass defense in Week 6. The Cowboys rank 11th in the NFL, allowing 194.4 passing yards per game, and have yet to allow a 300-yard passing performance this season. Goff, who has been highly efficient recently with a 36-for-41 passing record over his last two games (88% completion rate), will aim to capitalize on a banged-up Cowboys front seven that might be missing star edge/linebacker Micah Parsons (ankle) in addition to DeMarcus Lawrence (foot). In his past three outings, Goff has completed 70 of 96 passes for nearly 800 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. Despite his recent passing success, he is the 23rd-ranked fantasy quarterback this season, which keeps his Week 6 fantasy outlook more conservative as a mid-ranged QB2. With Dallas holding opponents to six passing touchdowns over five games and only two quarterbacks reaching the two-touchdown mark against them, Goff is mainly an option this week in 2QB/Superflex leagues.
