Trey Sermon Returns To Full Practice
1 month agoIndianapolis Colts running back Trey Sermon (collarbone) was held out of Wednesday's practice but was a full participant just a day later on Thursday. Sermon was a popular waiver-wire pickup last week after Jonathan Taylor suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Week 4 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Taylor did not play in the Week 5 loss to the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars, and Sermon took advantage as the lead back to record 10 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown while adding six catches for an extra 25 yards. Taylor has not practiced this week and appears headed for a second straight absence, which will put Sermon back into flex territory against the Titans. The 25-year-old won't have as much fantasy upside, though, against a Titans defense allowing the 22nd-most half-PPR points to RBs through five weeks. The impending return of quarterback Anthony Richardson (oblique) is also probably bad news for Sermon's rushing chances.
