Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White had high expectations entering the 2024 season. He was outstanding when Josh Jacobs missed the final month of last year with an injury.
White was a top-10 fantasy running back, averaging nearly 100 scrimmage yards per game over the final four contests. Unfortunately, he has severely struggled this season.
The former Georgia star is the RB61, averaging only 3.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Should fantasy players drop White? Let’s dive into it.

Should I Drop Zamir White?
Las Vegas has arguably the worst rushing attack in the NFL. Last week, White didn’t play because of a groin injury. He suffered an injury in practice, forcing him to sit out Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos.
Hopefully, White can return to the lineup against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week. However, it’s time for fantasy players to drop him. He has been awful, averaging only 3.1 yards per touch, ranking last among running backs with at least 50 touches this year.
Only three RBs have failed to average more than 4 yards per touch this season (min. 50 touches):

Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire?
Fantasy players should add Roschon Johnson off the waiver wire. The former Texas star is rostered in only 20% of Yahoo leagues. While D'Andre Swift remains the No. 1 running back, the second-year pro has carved out a role at the goal line. He has three rushing touchdowns over the past two weeks, including two on Sunday in the win over the Carolina Panthers.

Johnson doesn’t offer top-20 upside unless Swift misses time with an injury. However, he is a solid flex option or bye-week replacement for fantasy players, especially in Week 6. The Chicago Bears face the Jacksonville Jaguars this week in London.
Jacksonville has surrendered 24 fantasy points per game to running back this season, the sixth-most in the NFL. They have given up at least 20.5 fantasy points to running backs in all but one game this year, including three consecutive contests.
