When Will Malik Nabers Return and Be Back? Fantasy Football Injury Update for Week 6 (2024)

Malik Nabers - Fantasy Football Rankings, WR, Waiver Wire, NFL DFS, Rookies

When will Malik Nabers return and play? Will Malik Nabers be back again this season? Read the latest Malik Nabers injury updates and return date for Week 6 (2024).

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers has been fantastic to begin his first season with the Giants. Through the first four weeks, he has recorded 35 receptions for 386 yards and three touchdowns.

However, the rookie suffered a concussion in Week 4, which left him sidelined for Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks.

When will Malik Nabers return to action, and what is his fantasy football outlook when he does? Let's dive in.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Malik Nabers Injury Update

Malik Nabers was ruled out for Week 5 against the Seahawks after failing to clear concussion protocol in time. While concussions typically take about a week to recover from, Nabers was unable to return to practice and will miss this game.
Fantasy managers should anticipate him being ready for Week 6, assuming he progresses through the protocol without setbacks.

Keep an eye on Nabers’ recovery updates, as his status for Week 6 will depend on his ability to fully clear the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Malik Nabers Fantasy Football Outlook

Malik Nabers should be considered a must-start in all fantasy football formats once he clears concussion protocol, especially in PPR leagues.

Currently ranked as the fourth overall wide receiver in PPR formats, Nabers has emerged as an elite fantasy option. With 35 receptions over the first four weeks of the season, he's proven to be a consistent and reliable target, averaging nearly nine catches per game.

This volume makes him particularly valuable in PPR leagues, where each reception boosts his already impressive fantasy value.

This week, the Giants face the Bengals, which presents a prime opportunity for Nabers to return to the lineup and deliver another strong performance. The Bengals' defense has struggled against the pass, making it an ideal matchup for the Saints' passing attack to exploit.

As a rookie, Nabers has developed excellent chemistry with his offense, making him the go-to option in crucial situations. Given his heavy target share and ability to rack up yardage, fantasy managers should confidently start him as a top-tier WR1 when he returns to the field.
