Aaron Rodgers Dealing With Low-Ankle Sprain
2 months agoNew York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ankle) had a brief moment on the field on Sunday where he was unable to get up after a hit, causing the entire crowd to go quiet. Luckily, the veteran QB could get up and stay on the field to finish the game against the Minnesota Vikings. While speaking to the media, head coach Robert Saleh confirmed that Rodgers suffered a low-ankle sprain and "All the preliminary stuff says he'll be fine." Despite throwing three interceptions in this contest, Rodgers and the offense had brief moments where they flashed their potential. The good news is that he should be able to get on the field in Week 6 with an added day of rest before taking on the Buffalo Bills next Monday night.
