Trey Murphy III (ankle) will return to action in Sunday's matchup against Boston. He's available to play again after sitting out three contests with an ankle sprain. Murphy III has been huge for the Pelicans lately, averaging 23.7 points across his last 12 appearances. However, this spell has come with
Zion Williamson out of the lineup, and Murphy III will have a lesser role offensively going forward. With that said, the 24-year-old has good all-around talent and still has plenty to offer fantasy managers. With Murphy III back, we will likely see less of
Brandon Boston Jr. in Sunday's game.

Trey Murphy III (ankle) will not suit up for Tuesday's contest against Minnesota. He injured his left ankle on Sunday against Washington and will sit out at least one game. However, Murphy III is expected to make a quick return, as the team considers him day-to-day.
Brandon Boston Jr. and
Jordan Hawkins might play larger roles in the rotation with Murphy III out, although this will depend on
Zion Williamson's (hamstring) status. The high-flying star is on track to return to action this week and has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's game.

Trey Murphy III (ankle) exited Sunday's win over the Wizards. He did not return. The 24-year-old was having himself a game, accumulating 22 points, eight boards, two steals, and one block before his departure due to a left ankle sprain. The Pelicans are already without
Brandon Ingram (ankle) and
Zion Williamson (hamstring), so losing Murphy wouldn't be an ideal scenario, especially since he's easily having the best year of his career. But if he's not on the floor on Tuesday versus the Minnesota Timberwolves,
Brandon Boston Jr. may enter the starting lineup, although it would likely be
Herbert Jones,
Dejounte Murray, and
CJ McCollum who benefit the most.

However, Murphy III may remain in the lineup versus the Rockets. On Tuesday, the team announced that Murphy III is considered day-to-day. Both
Brandon Boston Jr. and
Jordan Hawkins would have larger roles to play in the rotation if Murphy III isn't game-ready. New Orleans might also be without another rotational piece in
Javonte Green (knee), who is sporting a questionable tag as well.
