BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR6
ANALYSIS: There's still a weird sentiment that Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers should all be considered for starts after the lead receiver suffers an injury. This is a bad idea. WR JuJu Smith-Schuster isn't good and hasn't been good for years. He had a few fluky good games in 2022 when QB Patrick Mahomes still put up great stats.
Not only is JuJu bad, but Mahomes has been terrible for fantasy and much less productive in 2023 and so far in 2024 than we've come to expect. Rashee Rice was the only consistent pass-catcher for fantasy football before he went down with an injury. Xavier Worthy has made some big plays but hasn't been reliable.
The fall off of JuJu Smith-Schuster is still one of the greatest mysteries of the world.

The time has come and passed years ago for the fantasy community to forget about Smith-Schuster. He's not good enough to demand the targets to be fantasy-relevant, and the Chiefs wouldn't be right to force-feed him anything. That offense is much more likely to divert Rice's targets to Travis Kelce, Worthy, and the running backs.
JuJu isn't even worth picking up off waivers. He's a fine drop candidate as well.
