Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has had an outstanding career. Many believe he could be a future Hall of Famer.
However, the veteran tight end has been awful this season. He is the TE41 over the first month, averaging 2.4 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, totaling 7.1 or fewer in every contest.
Should fantasy players drop Andrews this week, or will the veteran turn things around after a slow start? Let’s dive into it.

Should I Drop Mark Andrews?
The tight end position as a whole has struggled this year, with only George Kittle (11.9) and Dallas Goedert (10.5) being the only two in the NFL to average more than 8.5 fantasy points per game in 2024. However, Andrews has been terrible, scoring zero fantasy points in back-to-back games, earning only one target in both contests.

Third-string tight end Charlie Kolar has had only 35 fewer receiving yards over the past two weeks on one target (30) than Andrews has this season (65) on nine targets. Fantasy players who need a bench spot can drop the veteran tight end. However, I would bench Andrews and give it another week or two before dropping him, if possible.
Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire?
Unfortunately, there aren’t many appealing waiver wire targets at the tight end position this week. However, Tucker Kraft is the top target. He has separated himself from Luke Musgrave as the No. 1 tight end for the Green Bay Packers. Yet, Kraft is rostered in only 6% of Yahoo leagues.
Last week, the second-year player had six receptions on nine targets for 53 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 14.3 fantasy points. His 86% route participation rate ranked fifth among tight ends in Week 4. Kraft should only see his role expand with Christian Watson missing time with a high ankle sprain.
