2 months agoPittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Alex Highsmith (groin) has already been ruled out of the Week 5 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, per head coach Mike Tomlin. Highsmith missed the Week 4 game against the Indianapolis Colts due to a groin injury and is set to miss a second consecutive contest. The 2020 third-round pick out of Charlotte posted 21.5 sacks in his last two seasons and has one sack this year in three games, so it's a noteworthy absence of the fierce Pittsburgh defense.
