Bryan Battle (10-2, one no-contest) is set to take on Kevin Jousset on the main card of UFC Paris on Saturday. Battle is coming off a no-contest against Ange Loosa in a fight he was dominating before being poked in the eye. The American enters the bout against the Frenchman as the favorite, as DraftKings has him at a salary of $8,500. In the UFC, Battle is 5-1 with one no-contest with four wins by stoppage, while his only loss came via decision. If Battle can get the win, especially another finish, he would be in line for a top-15 opponent at welterweight.

A fight between Bryan Battle and Ange Loosa lasted only six minutes after Battle accidentally poked Loosa in the eye. Battle appeared to be getting the better of Loosa before an unintentional eye poke brought the contest to a halt in the second round. Battle surged forward, and he continued to lead the dance as the duo started wrestling. He took Loosa down but Loosa managed to get up, only to be tagged by straight shots. At the beginning of the second round, Battle's thumb went into Loosa's eye, which led to the referee calling the doctor. Shortly after, Loosa said that he could see out of his eye, so the referee decided to stop the fight. In 6:01 of action, Battle landed a takedown and 27 significant strikes.

"The Ultimate Fighter 28" winner Bryan Battle (11-2) returns in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 88 in a welterweight matchup against Ange Loosa on Saturday at the UFC Apex. He has six wins by submission and three via knockout/TKO. He has won ten of his last eleven fights and is currently only a two-fight win streak. DraftKings sees Battle as the favorite with a salary of $8,600. While in his UFC career, he's averaging 91.2 fantasy points per fight. Battle seems to have that opportunistic ability to land significant shots suddenly that change the fight, while Loosa, although having better striking, is a bit more hittable than Battle.

Battle survived the round and seemingly looked fresh when the second round started. In 9:32 of action, Battle landed a takedown and 63 significant strikes. Battle is now 5-1 since making his Octagon debut back in 2021.
