You guys aren't done yet, are you? You know I'm not! I live for this stuff! Last week's late-night slate was a little lacking, but we've got another strong one tonight. All six teams are kind of major teams. I still consider them major teams. That's what matters, right?
We start in Boise with Washington State in town. Next up is Arizona in Salt Lake City to take on the Utes. We end this in L.A. with Duck U. in town to take on the Bruins.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/28/24, locking at 10 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
John Mateer, Washington State ($9.9K)
Mateer had another monster game on Friday night last week, even before the overtime. He wound up with a staggering 54.7 DraftKings points thanks to collecting both the 300-yard passing bonus and the 100-yard rushing bonus. He is that dude and will continue to be against Boise tonight.

Maddux Madsen, Boise State ($6.5K)
Madsen only needs to manage the games with Boise's strong run game, but here's the thing...he's good at it. That's not a bad thing. He showed that he can light things up when needed in the first half against Portland State. There is potential if they get involved in a scoring fest against Washington State.
Also consider Dillon Gabriel, Oregon ($9K); Cameron Rising, Utah ($7.5K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Ashton Jeanty, Boise State ($9.1K)
Ashton Jeanty is on a different planet. pic.twitter.com/nt24sLLmtE
— Jabari Walker’s Revenge (@OSportsU) September 28, 2024
Jeanty is second in the nation in rushing yards. Boise has already had a bye and he didn't play at all in the second half against Portland State. Another planet, indeed. Jeanty might be the safest DFS play in history.
Micah Bernard, Utah ($5.8K)
Bernard got a lot of attention for his 182 rushing yards in Stillwater last week, but it's not like that came out of nowhere. That was Bernard's third consecutive 100-yard game. A fourth against Arizona is a given. This price is a gift!
Also consider: Jordan James, Oregon ($7.5K); Wayshawn Parker, Washington State ($5.2K);
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona ($9.1K)
I know...the Utah defense was carved out of granite just like Greek Gods, but McMillan was made from the next rock over. Forget the Northern Arizona game. In the two competitive games that Arizona has played, McMillan has 21 receptions for 442 yards and four touchdowns. TWO GAMES. Fade at your own risk!

Josh Meredith, Washington State ($5.8K)
Opponents are shifting coverage to Kyle Williams and Meredith is making them pay. He has 12 receptions for 200 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games. Williams has a higher ceiling, but Meredith is more of a sure thing. Use whichever best fits your lineup build.
Brant Kuithe, Utah ($5.5K)
There are several good tight ends in the college ranks this year, but Kuithe might still be the best. His best game was with Cam Rising at quarterback. Guess who's back tonight? Fire up Kuithe at this price!
Also consider Tez Johnson, Oregon ($7.6K); Kyle Williams, Washington State ($6K); Cam Camper, Boise State ($4.8K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Washington State/Boise State
Yes, I'm calling for a game stack. This is expected to be high-scoring and the prices fit (mostly). Mateer, Madsen, Jeanty, and Parker are all locks. You have to get a little creative at WR since you can't take both Williams and Meredith. Cam Camper and one of those leaves around $4.4K left to finish the last two slots.
Also consider: Oregon
