BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE15
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth was a popular sleeper candidate heading into the 204 NFL season. The veteran tight end is the clear-cut No. 2 option in Pittsburgh’s passing attack behind George Pickens. However, he is only the TE14, averaging 5.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over the first three weeks.
The former Penn State star took a massive hit in the Steelers’ Week 3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. However, Freiermuth had a solid week of practice and is ready for Sunday’s fantasy-friendly matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Indianapolis has surrendered 9.4 fantasy points per game to tight ends this year, the seventh-most in the NFL. Last week, Cole Kmet destroyed the Colts’ defense, totaling 10 receptions on 11 targets for 97 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 20.7 fantasy points.
While Freiermuth won’t have that level of performance, the veteran tight end has a low-end TE1 upside.
