2 months agoNew York Islanders right wing Hudson Fasching has sustained a lower-body injury and is considered day-to-day. The 29-year-old was injured in Tuesday's preseason action against the Rangers. Fasching was also hurt in training camp last year and ended up making only 45 appearances during the regular season. He finished with four goals and 14 points while averaging around 12 minutes per game. Fasching's injury opens the door for Liam Foudy to begin the campaign as the Islanders' 13th forward.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
