BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Flex
UPDATE: Texans RB Joe Mixon has been ruled OUT vs. Jacksonville
ANALYSIS: Houston Texans running back Cam Akers is likely set to start another game as the lead back, with fellow RBs Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce unlikely to play in Week 4. Mixon is dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in Week 2, and Pierce has a hamstring issue.
Joe Mixon is not present at #Texans practice. He missed last week because of an ankle injury.

#Texans coach DeMeco Ryans was noncommittal on status of Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce for this week. "We'll see." Wouldn't read anything into that, though. No injury report to be filed until Wednesday. @KPRC2

Though the Texans are reportedly optimistic about Pierce returning for Week 4, the DNP designation on Thursday makes this less likely to occur. Fantasy managers should be wary of Thursday DNP designations for Sunday games, and Akers is the much better bet to take the field and be the RB1 since Pierce is down.
Akers is worth a start against a struggling Jacksonville Jaguars defense that lost one of its best players in Foye Oluokun. The Jaguars are coming off of a blowout, being decimated by the Buffalo Bills 47-10 in Week 3. They provided little resistance against the Bills run game, and Akers has a good chance of having space to work.
Be sure to stay updated on Pierce's injury situation, but even if he plays, he could have restricted snaps to keep him healthy. Akers looks set to lead the way once again, this time against a much softer defense than the Vikings' stellar unit. He's worth a start.

BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5 ANALYSIS: New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a huge breakout game in Week 11... not really. He did have two huge gains, including a 67-yard pass and a 40-yard touchdown, and scored two receiving touchdowns on the day, but that doesn't mean he's fantasy gold. Marquez Valdes-Scantling. […]

BALLER MOVE: Sit POSITIONAL VALUE: WR5 ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson doesn't have much of a role in the offense when both of the team's best receivers, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, are healthy. The Rams are a team that concentrates itself around its superstar players as much as possible, which doesn't […]
