BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: It became apparent during the game against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3 that Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson, and any receiver not named Puka Nacua or Cooper Kupp, wouldn't be worth starting for the Rams this season. No L.A. pass-catcher got more than four targets.
Matthew Stafford completed just 16 passes that game, and RB Kyren Williams ran the ball just one less time than Stafford passed. The Rams' game plan was to lean on Williams.
It makes sense. Robinson is a 30-year-old journeyman WR who's never made a big impact in the NFL. The other Rams WRs aren't much more inspiring. Rookie Jordan Whittington, a late-round NFL draft selection, caught just three passes, and Tyler Johnson isn't good. At least Tutu Atwell did something.
Remember the early season Tutu Atwell games in 2023?
Fly motion. Stacks. Full speed deep shots or crossers? Before the Rams settled on Puka, Kupp and Demarcus Robinson.

If you have to start a Rams receiver, start Atwell. Robinson might not even belong on rosters at this point. He was hyped up to be the clear WR3 due to his performances in training camp and offseason practices, but that probably wasn't accurate. Robinson belongs on the bench at best.
