Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase finally had his breakout game of the 2024 season. After his inconsistent 2023 and lengthy absence from Bengals practices due to his contract situation, Chase had a slow start to 2024.
However, he quickly rewarded his fantasy managers' patience with a 29.80 PPR fantasy point outburst in Week 3 against the Washington Commanders. Chase was targeted only seven times and caught six passes, but turned that into 118 yards and two touchdowns.
Chase was listed on the injury report to start this week, though. Is Ja'Marr Chase hurt or healthy? Will he play in Week 4? Let's dive in.

Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Chase was listed on the injury report with a shoulder ailment and logged a limited practice on Wednesday. The fact that he's practicing all on a Wednesday is excellent news, though. The ambiguity of missed practices potentially being either veteran rest days or genuine concerns is never fun.
Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase is dealing with a shoulder issue, according to the team's estimated injury report.
He would have been limited had the team held a full practice today. Bengals scheduled to hold a walkthrough today.

Limited practices on Wednesdays for star players are much more likely to be precautionary. Chase had a big day against the Commanders and has earned the rest he's getting. Fantasy managers will need to check back for more updates on Chase's condition as the week goes on, though.
Receivers often play through shoulder injuries. It doesn't massively interfere with running, and often even with severe shoulder injuries receivers can still make catches that don't require them to lift both arms above their head, though that's not ideal. There's been no word on the severity of Chase's injury.
Fantasy managers shouldn't be worried about Chase missing Week 4 yet, but it's always better to stay updated.
