2024 NFL QB Power Rankings: All 32 Starting Quarterbacks for Week 4

Jayden Daniels - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Quincy Milton ranks all 32 starting NFL quarterbacks for Week 4 of the 2024 season. From Josh Allen to Skylar Thompson, see where your favorite quarterback falls.

If Week 3 was any indication, Andy Dalton is now the best quarterback in the NFL. That is said in jest, of course; however, quarterback play continues to be up and down in 2024.

Despite NFL fans waiting for Patrick Mahomes and C.J. Stroud to truly explode, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson all look like they are in midseason form. Additionally, young guns like Jayden Daniels continue to climb the list in the power rankings due to continued stellar play.

Week 4 marks the roughly quarter-mark of the NFL season. After this week, fans will have a better idea of contenders and pretenders. A lot of that starts with the quarterback position. Let's take a look at where everyone stands after Week 3.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

1. Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills

Patrick Mahomes is still the undisputed best quarterback in the NFL. However, the utter dismantling Allen just did to the Jacksonville Jaguars bumps him to the No. 1 spot in the power rankings. All that talk about the Bills having limited offensive weapons seems to be all for naught at this point.

2. Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs

Mahomes and the Chiefs seem to be so close to breaking through but all three of their games have still had no shortage of dramatic endings. Let's see what they can do against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

3. Joe Burrow - Cincinnati Bengals

Burrow is fully back and finally had a breakthrough with No. 1 wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase. The Bengals still lost a high-scoring affair to the Washington Commanders in Week 3. However, Burrow was excellent, throwing for 324 yards and three touchdowns. He still has yet to throw an interception in 2024.

4. Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens

Jackson and the Ravens almost blew another fourth-quarter lead to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. However, Jackson did what was necessary to get the Ravens their first win of the season.

5. Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia Eagles

So far, Hurts has been much better in 2024 than he was in 2023. He is fourth in the league in passing yards and 10th in QBR. His position as a top-5 passer shows his improvements in that department. He has also consistently made game-winning plays with his legs this season.

6. C.J. Stroud - Houston Texans

Stroud had a rough week in Week 3. The Vikings defense continues to menace opposing quarterbacks and passing games. The Texans offense never really got off the bus in Week 3. Stroud threw two interceptions and was sacked four times.

7. Brock Purdy - San Francisco 49ers

Purdy was back to his usual self in Week 3 en route to 292 passing yards and three touchdowns. The 49ers ultimately fell to the Rams after a monumental collapse in the fourth quarter. Still, Purdy's performance is encouraging for 49ers fans moving forward.

8. Matthew Stafford - Los Angeles Rams

Stafford deserves to be back in the top 10 on this list after making huge plays in Week 3. Stafford slung the ball around in the fourth quarter against the 49ers and put the Rams in position to win their first game of the season.

9. Kyler Murray - Arizona Cardinals

Murray is still working on his chemistry with young wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. However, something special is developing between those two. Most importantly, Murray appears to be fully healthy after his torn ACL in 2022. He has yet to run for less than 45 yards in a game this season.

10. Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys

While Prescott's box score on Sunday was excellent, it does not tell the story of the whole game. The Cowboys may have only lost by three but this game was not even close. Hopefully, Prescott can build on his statistics and have a strong showing on Thursday against the New York Giants.

11. Geno Smith - Seattle Seahawks

Smith and the Seahawks find themselves at 3-0. They are staring down a tough road ahead, including a Week 4 game against the Detroit Lions. Smith remains steady thus far in 2024 and has enjoyed great success throwing to DK Metcalf over the last two weeks.

12. Baker Mayfield - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mayfield had a tough outing against a talented Denver Broncos defense in Week 3. He was limited to 163 passing yards and a touchdown. He also threw an interception. Mayfield will look to bounce back in Week 4 against a beatable Eagles defense.

13. Jared Goff - Detroit Lions

Goff was not good or bad in Week 3. The Lions offense was shut down in the second half against the Arizona Cardinals, but they did just enough to secure a win. Goff has not reached his 2023 heights quite yet. He will look to do so against a tough Seahawks defense in Week 4.

14. Aaron Rodgers - New York Jets

Rodgers looked like vintage Rodgers in a Week 3 tilt with the New England Patriots. Not only did he have a good night statistically, Rodgers looked comfortable moving in and out of the pocket. If this continues, then the league needs to be on watch for the Jets.

15. Sam Darnold - Minnesota Vikings

Will Sam Darnold ever be able to go high enough on this list? This guy has been downright awesome thus far in 2024 and he should only continue to get better as the Vikings get healthier. All that talent is finally being unleashed in a well-structured environment.

16. Jayden Daniels - Washington Commanders

The Daniels drum beat grows with every passing week. He is starting to look far more comfortable in the pocket. Most importantly, the Commanders are getting more comfortable with him, as evidenced by their play-calling. Daniels is finally starting to be allowed to cut the ball loose downfield. Oh, and the rookie has yet to throw an interception.

17. Kirk Cousins - Atlanta Falcons

Cousins and the Falcons found themselves in a one-possession game with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. Each week, this team appears to be getting a little bit better. Look for Cousins to start rounding into form over the next couple of weeks.

18. Justin Herbert - Los Angeles Chargers

Herbert has been a tough player to rank this year. The 2-1 Chargers have won games on the back of their running game. The uber-talented Herbert has yet to throw for more than 144 yards in a game. His high ankle sprain is going to hamper him for at least a couple of weeks and at some point, better teams are going to force the Chargers to throw the ball.

19. Derek Carr - New Orleans Saints

Carr and the Saints came crashing down to earth against the Eagles in Week 3. Carr went 14-of-25 for 142 yards and a touchdown. He tacked on an ill-advised interception for good measure. Next up, the Saints get a hungry Falcons team.

20. Justin Fields - Pittsburgh Steelers

Fields is another example of how a little stability goes a long way. He continues to execute the Steelers offense in exactly the manner they need him to. The 3-0 Steelers might have found a steal with the fourth-year pro.

21. Andy Dalton - Carolina Panthers

Dalton is flying up this list because of the energy he brought to a floundering Panthers offense in Week 3. The 36-year-old found great success, throwing for 319 yards and three touchdowns. Now that defenses know what to expect, let's see if he can keep it up.

22. Daniel Jones - New York Giants

Jones has found success throwing to rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers over the past two weeks. He deserves to climb this list because he has helped keep the Giants in games while cutting back on his turnovers. The Cowboys provide a solid barometer for the Giants offense in Week 4.

23. Trevor Lawrence - Jacksonville Jaguars

Lawrence is only this high in the power rankings because of who is behind him. He was abysmal against the Bills on Monday. It does not help that the O-line is offering about zero protection. However, Lawrence's one interception was simply an overthrow of a wide-open Brian Thomas Jr.

24. Anthony Richardson - Indianapolis Colts

After such an exciting start to the season, Richardson has looked bad over the last two weeks. He seems allergic to completing more than 50% of his passes. This is a young player brimming with potential, but we will have to continue riding the highs and lows until he finds consistency.

25. Jacoby Brissett - New England Patriots

Brissett stands no chance behind the Patriots O-line. The Jets sacked Brissett over and over in Week 3. By the end of the game, he looked broken. He still managed to complete 12-of-18 passes for 98 yards.

26. Caleb Williams - Chicago Bears

Williams continues to look flustered behind a struggling Bears O-line. His escape ability is elite, but it always looks out of control, unlike the smooth escapes of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. Williams should improve as the season wears on. However, NFL fans need to remember that this is a rookie after all. On the bright side, Williams finally threw a touchdown and over 300 passing yards.

27. Malik Willis - Green Bay Packers

Yet another quarterback fans thought was toast until he landed in a good situation. I am sensing a theme here. In all seriousness, Willis has done exactly what the Packers have asked him to. They have won both of his starts and he may be able to pass the torch back to starter Jordan Love in Week 4.

28. Gardner Minshew II - Las Vegas Raiders

Minshew and the Raiders flopped against a terrible Panthers defense in Week 3. Minshew was ultimately pulled for Aidan O'Connell after throwing for 214 yards, one touchdown, and an interception. Minshew will remain the Raiders starter in Week 4 but he may be on thin ice.

29. Deshaun Watson - Cleveland Browns

Watson had nothing for the Giants in Week 3. He has completely lost his mojo and continues to slide down this list. He has yet to throw for 200 yards in a game and only has two touchdowns to three interceptions on the season.

30. Bo Nix - Denver Broncos

Nix finally had a good day as a pro. He did not turn the ball over and ran for his second career rushing touchdown. The Broncos ran right through the Buccaneers and will face a tough test against the Jets in Week 4.

31. Will Levis - Tennessee Titans

Levis' turnover problems may be the single reason why the Titans are 0-3. He looks really good throwing the ball. The arm talent is all there, but the decision-making is not. Head coach Brian Callahan has been visibly frustrated with Levis in recent weeks, so do not be surprised if changes are made if things do not improve.

32. Skylar Thompson - Miami Dolphins

Thompson was under duress all day in Week 3. The Seahawks hardly gave Thompson a chance to breathe all game. Thompson is day-to-day with a rib injury, so he may not even be able to start for the Dolphins in Week 4.
