BALLER MOVE: Monitor in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 4% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Ray-Ray McCloud III is a name to watch on the waiver wire in deep leagues.
After a shaky Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Atlanta Falcons offense is beginning to show signs of becoming a strong unit. Although they only managed to score 17 points against the Chiefs, they were able to move the ball effectively, racking up over 300 yards of total offense.
As the Falcons' offense improves, they are becoming more intriguing for fantasy managers, and slot receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III is someone to keep an eye on moving forward. While he has yet to surpass 10 points in PPR leagues, with only nine catches for 111 yards this season, there are positive indicators of his potential.
The encouraging sign for McCloud III is his clear role as the team's slot receiver, as he has been on the field frequently. After playing just 54% of the snaps in Week 1, he significantly increased his involvement in Weeks 2 and 3, recording a 100% snap count in Week 2 and a 95% snap count in Week 3. He is also receiving a solid number of targets, currently ranking third on the team with 15.
WELCOME TO ATLANTA, RAY-RAY MCCLOUD‼️

Falcons' offensive coordinator Zac Robinson comes from the Kyle Shanahan tree during his time as the offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams. The positive sign for McCloud going forward is that the Falcons run a lot of 11-personnel, which is three wide receiver sets on the field.
While McCloud may not be a must-add this week, particularly with the Falcons facing the formidable New Orleans Saints defense, he is certainly a player to monitor as he showcases considerable upside within an offense with significant potential.
