Zach Ertz Leads Team In Receptions In Week 3
3 months agoWashington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz led the team with five receptions in their victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. The veteran tight end was given many looks during crunch time and was Jayden Daniel's safety net in the middle of the field. The 33-year-old has emerged as the No.2 pass-catcher in the first three weeks in this offense and has seen at least four targets in every game. Ertz should be viewed as a safe low-end TE1 going forward as he has built a strong connection with his rookie QB and should always be in line for consistent targets given the uncertainty at wide receiver behind Terry McLaurin. Ertz should be a priority waiver-add if you need a tight end and should be started in all standard formats next week in Arizona.
