ANALYSIS: Alec Pierce has sneakily been a solid fantasy player so far in the young 2024 NFL season. Through his first two games, he scored 21.5 and 16.6 fantasy points per game (PPR) and finished as the overall WR10 and WR20, respectively.
In Week 3, he took a step back, scoring only 5.4 fantasy points, but still, he remains one of the Indianapolis Colts’ top receiving options.

The Colts have faced many questions and concerns in their receiving room this season. Projected WR1 Michael Pittman Jr. has been underperforming, Josh Downs has been dealing with injuries, and rookie Adonai Mitchell is nowhere to be found.
Amongst that group, Pierce has stood out as arguably the most reliable and consistent receiver, accumulating at least 40 receiving yards in all three of the team’s games.
Pierce currently ranks second on the Colts in receptions (nine) behind Pittman (11) but ranks first in yards per reception (25). Fantasy managers who are thin at receiver should capitalize on Pierce’s 49% availability and use him as a streamer in Week 3 (and maybe beyond).
Pierce will remain a solid fantasy option in deeper leagues until the Colts gain some sort of stability in their receiving room.
