ANALYSIS: Mooney had his second straight solid game in Week 3 as he secured all eight targets for 66 yards in the Falcons' loss to the Chiefs. He's now been targeted 15 times over the last two weeks and has become a safety valve for Kirk Cousins in this Atlanta passing game.
Mooney saw most of his targets on short routes or even behind the line of scrimmage, with Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and even Ray-Ray McCloud III working down the field more often. That's honestly a good thing for his value in PPR leagues.
The Falcons were quick to adjust their gameplan after Cousins was sacked so often by the Steelers in Week 1 and now he's getting rid of the ball much faster and willing to dump it off to his backs or receivers on short routes.

While London and Pitts are still the top targets for Cousins (and fantasy managers), it really seems as if there should be enough production to go around for Mooney and McCloud to maintain fantasy relevance on a week-to-week basis.
Mooney should be rostered in more leagues. He's a good young receiver who plays on a good offense. Cousins is a very capable QB who is going to spread the ball around and keep Mooney involved more weeks than not.
