Wanya Morris Takes Over Left Tackle
2 months agoKansas City Chiefs left tackle Wanya Morris has been named the starter ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. This is noteworthy due to the fact the Chiefs have decided to bench second-round pick Kingsley Suamataia. The rookie tackle was pulled from last week's game after failing to contain pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, who recorded two sacks. It's unlikely that the Chiefs are giving up on the 21-year-old tackle, but have decided to make a change for at least this week. Morris is a second-year tackle and will be in charge of blocking the blindside of Patrick Mahomes on Sunday.
